A letter to my readers

Dear readers,

I am going to get straight to the point here. I am sorry!

Why am I sorry? Because I have neglected this blog. I built up the hype among friends and family, then life happened:

  • I got into the swing of studying for my Accountancy degree, panicked about my first exam and hid from the world for a while, took my test and smashed it (aka I aced it).
  • We are trying to do various renovations on our house. Typical first time buyers trying to put their stamp on their matchbox home.
  • My every changing toddler brings new challenges almost every day. All this growing and developing lark, it’s hard to keep up with sometimes.

These are just a few things on top of the usual average stuff everyone goes through in life, home, bills, relationships, keeping fit, finding time for yourself, etc, etc. It’s an on-going battle to try and balance everything. Whilst I was trying o find that balance, my blog got put on the back burner and for that, I am very sorry.

In between all this crazy, I have managed to fit in some sewing. Not as much as I would like, but I have definitely got though a fair amount. If you follow me on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook then you will have seen some this. If you’re not following me in all the socials, why not? I will add the links at the end of this post.

So what is the plan going forward? Well it is quite simple, I will aim to write a new blog post at least once a month. Be that reviews, a tutorial, useful insights or details of what I have planned. I have so many ideas in my notebook, so many wonderful things I want to share with you, but sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day to get it all out there, but I will do my best.

See you back here soon fellow sewists.

Happy stitching,
